Relief, climate, rivers and lakes from Uzbekistan:
Uzbekistan has a mountainous relief in the eastern part with Tian Shan Mountains and the highest peak Bestor of 4.299 m height. In the central part there is a desert and stone area (Kyzyl Kum Desert) and in west is Turan’s Plain. The climate is temperate-continental with warm summers and mild winters, except the mountainous area. The rainfall is between 300 and 500 mm annually. The most important river is Amu Darya which flows into Aral Lake in north, one of the world’s largest lakes.
Agriculture, cities, population and industries:
Without irrigation, the agriculture would suffer a lot, but because of these, the locals cultivate cotton (one of the firsts producers in the world), tobacco, orchards, vegetables and many different cereals.
