Islands, life, agriculture, economy and population in Tuvalu:
Tuvalu is the 4th country in surface after Vatican, Monaco and Nauru whose main islands and atolls are: Funafuti, Nukulaelae, Vaitupu, Nui, Nanumaga, Niutao and Nanumea. The life on these islands is very hard due to the permanent danger of the Planetary Ocean expansion because of the global warming, to the fresh water absence and to the poor economy. Without the help from other countries, the inhabitants would find it hard to survive because the only cultivated plants are the coco trees to produce copra and fishing represents the main activity and the most important sector of the economy. (Find more journeys on blog.worldlifetimejourneys.com Many of the aliments have to be imported and as about tourism the islands are very bad. The majority of the population is composed by Tuvaluans and the country obtained the independence from Great Britain at 01 October 1978. Visit Tuvalu!
