Timis County has a varied relief composed by the Western Plain with low altitudes, followed in the central part by a downy and plateau area (Poganisului Hills and Lipovei Plateau). Climate in Timis is continental-moderate of transition with major Sub-Mediterranean influences due to its location close to the Mediterranean Sea.
