Population, relief, climate, resources and agriculture from Somalia:
Somalia is another country with political conflicts for many decades that affect the population. The inhabitants have one of the lowest life expectancy and standards of living due to the aliments absence, starvation, drought, an inefficient sanitary system and due to war. The relief is composed by a desert area in north and south-east on the coast and a greener area to the continental borders with its neighbors. The climate is very dry with temperatures passing over 40º C and the rainfall is low so the country is annually affected by drought. The critical economy is based upon the resources of iron, copper and tin, but especially on agriculture. (Find more journeys on blog.worldlifetimejourneys.com) The most important cultures are the ones of cotton, corn, sugar beet, cereals and banana and as domestic animals are camels, goats, sheep and cattle.
