Seychelles archipelago has four main islands: Mahé, Silhouette, Felicité and Praslin where almost the entire population is living and many other smaller islands. They have a relief formed by granite or corals and have elevations between several m and 800-900 m height. The climate is tropical hot with medium temperatures over 26º C, but high in humidity. Because is an ex-British overseas colony, the most part of the inhabitants are descendants of these colonizers and the rest are African or Indian in origins.
