Relief, population, agriculture, economy, tourism and clime from Niue:

This is an insular country formed by a coral island of an oval form with a medium elevation, of several dozens of m height, on which is living one of the smallest number of population in the world. The inhabitants are a mix between Samoans and Tongans working in agriculture which brings the most earnings. They cultivate taro, passion fruit, lemons, coco trees, vanilla, cassava, yams, sweet potatoes and other tropical fruits. (Find more journeys on blog.worldlifetimejourneys.com) Besides agriculture, other important domains are the apiculture with the production and export of honey in large amounts, the forestry, the fishing (seafood and many species of fish), the postage stamp selling and more and more the tourism. The island is visited by more than 1.000 tourists annually who come here for the superb and quiet beaches, for the perfect, hot tropical clime and for the enchanting landscapes. However it needs help from New Zealand and from the teenagers that work abroad. Visit Niue!
