Relief and climate of Mozambique:
Mozambique has a diversified relief starting from the Indian Ocean where is a coastal fertile plain, which extends in the interior. Further is a downy area and then a mountain chain in west and north. The country’s highest peak is Binga Mountain at the border with Zimbabwe with its 2.436 m height. The climate is tropical with the alternation of the dry season that brings drought and the rainy season that brings floods.
Rivers, agriculture and fishing:
The main streams are Zambezi and Limpopo Rivers. The agriculture is the main activity for the locals Macua, Sena, Shona or Shangaan in origins (there are also several other dozens of ethnic groups). They cultivate sugar cane, coffee and tea trees, corn, manioc, rice, sisal, coco trees and cotton. But the most important earnings come from fishing because annually are caught dozens of thousands of tone of fish and seafood especially shrimps.
