Relief of France:
France is the largest country from West Europe. It has a various relief, ranging from low plains to mountains at 4.800 meters height (the Alps Mountains). In north-west of the country, in the Brittany and Normandy regions, the area is downy and the coasts are heavily fragmented. The highest mountains are the French Alps, with the maximum elevation in Mont Blanc peak of 4.810 meters height situated at the border with Italy and is also the highest peak from Europe. The next in height are the Pyrenees Mountains which form the border with Spain. In the center, approximately 15% of the territory is represented by the French Central Massif, 300 million years old mountains with a plateau aspect.
