These islands are situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, to an equal distance from Norway, Iceland and Scotland. The islands are separated between them by deep fjords. The relief is composed by rocky and steep peaks columns but the general elevation is about a few hundred meters with peaks exceeding 800-1.000 m. The climate is always changeable with short and cool summers and cold, rainy winters. The main areas of activity for the inhabitants in are related to the fishing industry.
