Relief, fauna and flora of Brunei:
Brunei is one of the smallest states from the South-Eastern Asia with a relief composed by plain but also few hills and mountains towards the interior. The highest peak is Pagon at 1.850 m height. It is split by Malaysia in two parts, one big in the west and one smaller in the east. It obtained the independence from Great Britain at 01 January 1984. More than a half of the country’s surface is covered with tropical forests which are the house for many rare species of fauna and flora like birds and monkeys, but also elephants, leopards and reptiles.
