Relief, lakes, rivers and climate of Albania:
Albania is one of Europe’s underdeveloped countries and has a relief composed by plains in west and mountains in the central and eastern parts. The highest peak is Korab with 2.751 m height. It has two large lakes, Shkoder and Ohrid, situated at the border with Montenegro respective with Macedonia and it’s crossed by several rivers that flow into the Adriatic Sea. The climate is continental, but with Mediterranean influences where the summers are warm and the winters are mild. Population and agriculture of Albania:
The biggest part of the population works in agriculture with large cultures of wheat, corn, potatoes and sugar cane, but they also grow millions of sheep. Almost the entire population is formed by Albanians of Muslim religion and all the 20th century the country was governed by a communist dictator and was almost completely isolated by the rest of Europe and the economy suffered a lot.
