Relief, climate, agriculture and economy of Liechtenstein:

Liechtenstein is one of the smallest European countries with a downy relief, but in the west part are the Alps with the highest peak Grauspitz at 2.599 m height. The climate is temperate, mild with hot summers (temperatures of 26-30º C) and cold winters when the temperatures decrease below 0º C. The inhabitants work in agriculture and cultivate corn and vine. It has one of the best standard of living in the world and the low taxes make from this small country a tax heaven. (Find more journeys on blog.worldlifetimejourneys.com) A good part of the economy comes from selling the postage stamps. The country depends of Switzerland’s help and it obtained the independence as a principality in 1866. Visit Liechtenstein!
