The biggest part of the population works in agriculture with large cultures of wheat, corn, potatoes and sugar cane, but they also grow millions of sheep. Almost the entire population is formed by Albanians of Muslim religion and all the 20th century the country was governed by a communist dictator and was almost completely isolated by the rest of Europe and the economy suffered a lot.
